At Pauls Valley First, we feel that it’s

OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions.

What should I expect in church?

We begin with a prayer then sing a few worship songs. We usually stand during this time, but feel free to join in with us or sit back and observe.

We have a time to "mingle" so people can greet one another. Again, you may choose to join in or remain at your seat.

We continue the service with a few more worship songs. This time is usually followed by an offering. The ushers will pass an offering bag to each pew. Please do not feel any obligation to give.

Next is the sermon which is usually lasts 30 minutes. We may use video clips, stories, drama, and humor to apply Bible truth to our lives in a relevant way. There is a place on the bulletin so you can take notes if you like.

What should I wear?

Wear what's comfortable and appropriate for being out in public? We're more concerned with who you are than what your wear.

What's available for my kids?

We have nursery and a class for children during every service. A greeter will show you which class is designed for their age.
